Role
We are looking for a Senior Threat Researcher to join our Threatlabz team. This is a Bangalore based role, reporting to the Senior Manager, Threat Research. You will research emerging threats, malware, TTPs, and attack campaigns to secure our global ecosystem. As a key contributor to the Threatlabz team, you will drive detection efficacy and validate defenses through adversary emulation and cross-functional collaboration.

Build and refine detections across all detection platforms

Own and enhance the Threat Detection Efficacy Matrix

Use red team methodologies and adversary emulation to test and validate detections

Identify detection gaps and drive improvements with cross-functional teams

What We’re Looking for (Minimum Qualifications)

5+ years of experience in Threat Research, Detection Engineering, or Threat Intelligence

Strong understanding of adversary behaviors, attack chains, and the MITRE ATT&CK framework

Hands-on experience with SIEM, EDR/XDR, log analysis, and scripting in Python or PowerShell

Ability to translate complex research into actionable detections and measurable metrics

Knowledge of red team emulation frameworks and detection bypass techniques
