What you’ll do:
- Lead end-to-end delivery of Pinterest’s office construction and renovation projects, working closely with Design Project Managers and the Workplace Team.
- Develop, maintain, and update project budgets and schedules; proactively manage to cost and timeline targets.
- Coordinate and drive both internal and external partners to meet project milestones, resolving issues and keeping work on track.
- Prepare scopes of work (SOWs), draft and analyze bids, oversee purchase orders, contract amendments, change orders, and accruals.
- Manage and coordinate the Requests for Proposal (RFP) process for construction services.
- Ensure timely and transparent communication so all project participants are informed of status, risks, decisions, and next steps.
- Partner cross-functionally with teams including Food, Security, Services, AV/IT, and Network to deliver cohesive workplace solutions.
- Continuously improve team practices for document control, project tracking, and project close-out.
- Lead teams of external project managers, consultants, and general contractors, fostering accountability and high standards.
What we’re looking for:
- 8+ years of experience in construction project management with a track record of delivering complex workplace or commercial office projects.
- Builder mindset—proactive, adaptable, and resourceful, able to drive projects forward independently.
- Thorough understanding of the different construction means and methods (GMP, Stim Sum etc ..), with expertise in multiple project delivery approaches.
- Experienced at leading and motivating teams of internal collaborators, consultants, and vendors with a strong focus on customer experience.
- Skilled in creating and managing schedules, developing key milestones, and keeping workstreams aligned.
- Solid knowledge of architecture, MEP, building codes, AV/IT, networking, and security systems—and experience coordinating these disciplines.
- Proficient with Procore, Google Workspace, and Smartsheet.
- Bachelors degree or relevant experience.
- Willingness and ability to travel domestically and internationally as needed.
Relocation Statement:
- This position is not eligible for relocation assistance. Visit our PinFlex page to learn more about our working model.
In-Office Requirement Statement:
- We let the type of work you do guide the collaboration style. That means we're not always working in an office, but we continue to gather for key moments of collaboration and connection.
- This role requires in-office presence 2–3 times per week and/or at construction sites. Candidates must be commutable to Palo Alto or San Francisco.
