Job Description

Job Summary

NetApp, Inc. is seeking a highly motivated individual to join our Enterprise Data & Analytics (EDA) team as a Customer Master Data Product owner.  This position will play a critical role in driving the success of our Customer and Contact related applications, products and services by collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions that meet business needs and align with both industry best practices and internal standards.

Job Requirements

  • Business Analysis:  Analyze processes and data, making recommendations for improvements based on industry trends and professional business knowledge.  
  • Product Roadmap Management: Collaborate with stakeholders and Product/Enterprise Architects to define and maintain the product roadmaps for each of the applications, platforms and technologies part of the portfolio, ensuring alignment with business and IT goals and objectives.
  • Requirement Intake & Grooming: Working closely with business and IT stakeholders, gather and refine requirements, ensuring they are well-documented and aligned with the overall product vision.  Responsible for managing backlog prioritization.
  • Solution & Architecture: Partner with Enterprise, product architects, and other technical teams to verify design and solutions meet business requirements and IT roadmaps.
  • Delivery: Ownership of release planning, definition of major project milestones, and overall delivery execution. Ensure that deliverables meet the required quality and align with established standards and committed timelines. 
  • Communication: Perform regular and consistent communication with business and IT stakeholders, providing regular updates on project status, risks, and issues.  Align with other Product owners to ensure best practices and consistency across domains is achieved.
  • Support/Product Stability: Engage in incident management, ensuring timely resolution of issues and continuous improvement of product stability and performance.
  • Data Quality / Governance: Collaborate with Data Governance team members to monitor and improve data quality with the associated domains/applications.  Perform implementation and overall ownership of data model and associated documentation / Metadata.
  • Documentation: Maintain current product documentation including functional specifications, solution designs, data models, as built diagrams, integration diagrams, data integration mappings etc.  

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
  • Over 2 years of prior experience as a Product Owner or similar role in a data-driven environment
  • Hands-on Involvement with vendor Customer / Company Master Data solutions and concepts ( Oracle Fusion Applications preferred )
  • Strong understanding of delivery lifecycle and agile methodologies
  • Must be self-motivated, team oriented and possess strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Experience with SQL, relational databases, and working with large complex data set
  • Familiarity with data governance, data quality and compliance standards
  • Detailed involvement with BI / Reporting tools;  Power BI, Oracle BI Publisher, and Oracle OTBI prefered

Compensation:
The target salary range for this position is 136,000 - 202,400 USD. The salary offered will be determined by the candidate's location, qualifications, experience, and education and may be outside of this range. Final compensation packages are competitive and in line with industry standards, reflecting a variety of factors, and include a comprehensive benefits package. This may cover Health Insurance, Life Insurance, Retirement or Pension Plans, Paid Time Off (PTO), various Leave options, Performance-Based Incentives, employee stock purchase plan, and/or restricted stocks (RSU’s), with all offerings subject to regional variations and governed by local laws, regulations, and company policies. Benefits may vary by country and region, and further details will be provided as part of the recruitment process.
