You Are:

As the Managing Director, Defense & Intelligence AI and Data Lead at Accenture Federal Services, you will lead the strategy, business development, and delivery of cutting-edge data and artificial intelligence solutions for defense, intelligence, and related national security agencies. This executive position requires a unique blend of technical expertise, business acumen, and deep understanding of the federal data and AI technology landscape. The role would report to the Chief AI officer, and work closely with portfolio leadership.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and drive the growth strategy for data and AI solutions within the Defense & Intelligence portfolio
  • Build and maintain senior executive relationships with key defense, intelligence, and other clients as required.
  • Lead large-scale pursuits and proposals for data and AI opportunities
  • Align Defense & Intelligence portfolio offerings with broader data and AI practice strategies
  • Develop tailored solutions addressing the unique challenges facing defense and intelligence agencies
  • Oversee delivery of critical complex data and AI programs, ensuring technical excellence and client satisfaction
  • Recruit, build and lead high-performing teams of data scientists, engineers, and AI specialists
  • Identify emerging technologies, software and platform partners, and market trends to maintain competitive advantage
  • Establish thought leadership and messaging strategies in data and AI applications for the federal market

Impact & Success Metrics

  • Achieve annual revenue growth targets for the Defense & Intelligence AI and Data capability area
  • Increase market share within specified defense and intelligence agencies
  • Build and expand client relationships with key defense and intelligence executives and others as required
  • Successfully deliver transformative AI and Data solutions that enhance mission capabilities
  • Measurably improve partnership revenue and capture volume with emerging technology companies – prioritizing the Defense and Intel space
  • Develop and implement innovative offerings addressing emerging defense and intelligence challenges

Qualifications

  • 15+ years of experience in technology, with at least 8 years focused on data analytics and AI solutions
  • Proven track record of growing business and driving sales in the federal defense and intelligence sector
  • Active security clearance (TS/SCI preferred)
  • Strong understanding of defense and intelligence mission requirements and operational environments
  • Executive presence and ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical leaders
  • Experience leading strategic growth campaigns and delivering sustained growth
  • Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree in technology, business, or related field preferred
  • Experience with relevant AI technologies including large language models, computer vision, predictive analytics, and autonomous systems

As required by local law, Accenture Federal Services provides reasonable ranges of compensation for hired roles based on labor costs in the states of California, Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Massachusetts, Minnesota, New Jersey, New York, Washington, Vermont, the District of Columbia, and the city of Cleveland. The base pay range for this position in these locations is shown below. Compensation for roles at Accenture Federal Services varies depending on a wide array of factors, including but not limited to office location, role, skill set, and level of experience.
