We are seeking a Senior Consultant, Corporate Communications to lead strategic external communications for the Australia and New Zealand (ANZ) market. This is a critical role requiring a seasoned communications professional with strong media relationships and the ability to counsel senior executives.

The position is based in Chatswood and reports to the Director of Corporate Communications, Asia Pacific, Japan & Greater China.

What you’ll achieve

In this role, you will advance and protect Dell Technologies’ brand and reputation by developing and executing strategic communications for the Australia and New Zealand (ANZ) market in this AI era. You will lead initiatives that build advocacy among media and key stakeholders, leveraging modern platforms and tools to optimize narratives for both traditional and AI-driven environments.

You will:

• Lead strategic communications initiatives aligned with corporate priorities and business objectives.
• Develop and execute a 360 communications strategy, leveraging modern platforms and tools to optimize narratives for media and AI-driven environments.
• Serve as a story architect, transforming data and insights into compelling narratives that build advocacy among media, customers, and partners.
• Leverage your strong ANZ media network, maintaining trusted relationships to amplify Dell’s messaging and protect its reputation.
• Collaborate across teams—APJC Communications, ANZ leadership, ANZ Marketing, Global Communications, and regional business leads—to ensure alignment and impact.
• Embed scalable processes and low-code automation into workflows for efficiency.
• Manage issues communications and rapid-response orchestration, working closely with corporate and regional teams.
• Uphold ethical standards for AI-assisted content and ensure compliance with local regulations

Essential Requirements

• Minimum 20 years of communications experience in the technology industry, with strong network of media relationships in ANZ, and the expertise and confidence to provide strategic communications counsel to senior executives.
• Proven ability in designing and executing strategic communications programs, including planning, implementation, and measurement.
• Expertise in leveraging AI tools for content development and optimization for large language models (LLMs) and, skilled in modern storytelling platforms— including blogs, video, podcasts, social media, and webcasts.
• Ability to operate in a matrix organization, manage multiple projects, and collaborate across geographies and time zones.
• Experience in issues communications, exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with a passion for technology (B2B and B2C).
• Curious and open-minded about learning and adopting new ways of working and, operate with a sense of urgency as speed matters more than ever in the AI era.

Desirable Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Communications, Journalism or related field preferred
