Job Description

At ComplyAdvantage, we empower businesses to fight financial crime through cutting-edge compliance and fraud solutions. By joining our team, you’ll play a critical role in ensuring our procurement processes align with our mission to mitigate risk and drive operational excellence in a high-growth FinTech ecosystem.

As a Procurement Specialist, you will be a key driver of efficiency within our global Vendor Operations team. This isn't just about buying tools; it’s about optimizing our Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) and ensuring our tech stack scales as fast as we do. You will act as the bridge between Finance, Legal, and Engineering, transforming raw spend data into actionable insights while maintaining a seamless candidate-like experience for our internal stakeholders.

What You’ll Do

  • Execute and streamline the end-to-end procurement lifecycle, from initial requisition to final contract execution, ensuring adherence to compliance and risk standards.
  • Develop and maintain real-time dashboards to track key procurement metrics (Time-to-Contract, Savings vs. Budget, and Vendor Concentration Risk).
  • Partner with Engineering and EngOps to facilitate the sourcing of technical tools, ensuring vendors meet our requirements for scalability, security, and performance (SLAs).
  • Perform regular audits of spend data to identify inefficiencies, "ghost spend," or opportunities for vendor consolidation.
  • Assist in negotiating commercial terms for renewals and new contracts, focusing on pricing transparency and favorable service terms.
  • Act as a first-line consultant for internal teams, providing clarity on procurement policy and assisting with ad-hoc operational requests to support company-wide velocity.

About You

  • You possess strong quantitative skills and are proficient in Google Sheets/Excel (comfortable with Pivot Tables, VLOOKUPs, and data visualization).
  • You have a foundational understanding of (or a keen interest in) SaaS contract mechanics, including licensing models, DPAs, and renewal cycles.
  • You have a high attention to detail and take pride in maintaining accurate documentation and clean data workflow.
  • You can translate complex procurement processes into simple instructions for non-expert stakeholders.
  • You understand the balance between "perfection" and "delivery," and you aren't afraid to ask "why" to drive better outcomes.

Nice to Haves

  • Experience operating within Jira or Confluence to manage task workflows.
  • Previous experience in a fast-paced Technology Start-up or Scale-up.
  • Familiarity with Spend Management or ERP software.

What’s in it for you?

  • Equity as we want you to have a part of what we are building
  • Unlimited Time Off Policy - A work-life balance and focus on our well-being are critical to keeping us performing at our best
  • Hybrid working - We want you to strike a balance and be where you do your best work. You will work with your manager to agree on what is best for you and your team
  • You will also get a budget to kit out your home office
  • Opportunity to work on innovative projects with smart like-minded people who are keen to share their knowledge and continuously improve
  • Annual learning budget to drive your performance and career development
  • Meal Vouchers 40 RON/ Day
  • Access to an Employee Assistance Programme
  • Medical Insurance
  • 7Card (upon request)
