The Senior Business Intelligence Manager is an individual contributor role that guides the business through rigorous analysis of quantitative and qualitative data to enable informed, financially sound decision-making. This role leads the design, development, and standardized, cross-functional dashboards—primarily leveraging SQL and Power BI—to ensure data accuracy, consistency, and performance.
This position differentiates by translating complex financial and procurement operations to clearly provide insights, compelling data visualizations and comprehensive narratives that drive action. The Senior BI Manager applies strong financial acumen to connect insights to key business metrics such as cost and investment trade-offs, partnering closely with Finance and senior stakeholders. Success in this role is measured by the ability to deliver actionable insights and executive-ready communications that influence strategy, optimize performance, and improve customer outcomes. The work directly impacts organizational effectiveness by enabling leadership to make confident, data-driven decisions that support strategic initiatives and long-term business goals.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Support analytic needs by integrating data from multiple sources to inform business strategies
  • Create comprehensive dashboards combining diverse data sets for senior management presentations
  • Lead insight generation from data to develop strategies enhancing customer experience and business performance
  • Engage early in enterprise projects to define and incorporate reporting requirements into system design
  • Analyze sales, call center, partner, and financial performance to support operational decision-making
  • Present analysis and strategic recommendations to senior management through verbal and written communication
  • Also responsible for other duties/projects as assigned by business management as needed


Education and Work Experience:

  • Bachelor's Degree plus 5 years of related work experience OR Advanced degree with 3 years of related experience (Required)
  • Acceptable areas of study include Business, Statistics or similar degree (Required)
  • 4-7 years Experience with business intelligence tools (e.g.Business Objects, Cognos, Hyperion, etc.). (Required)
  • 4-7 years Experience in reporting & analyzing performance & data visualization (Tableau; PowerBI) (Required)
  • 4-7 years Experience in advanced analytics, which include SQL/ETL of complex datasets, competitive analysis, quantitative analysis & research. (Required)


Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • SQL -Advanced technical skills (DataViz; SQL; automation; report/metric design; algorithms/modeling) Advance (Required)
  • Intermediate analytical, problem solving and critical reasoning skills (Required)
  • Intermediate skills in communication/consulting, influencing and relationship management (Required)
  • Intermediate familiarity with project leadership, coaching and mentoring (Required)
  • Intermediate functional knowledge (Telecom, Supply Chain, Network Technology, procurement) (Required)

Bellevue, WA Compensation Range: $129,500 - $175,200

Base Pay Range: $99,600 - $179,700

Corporate Bonus Target: 15%

The pay range above is the general base pay range for a successful candidate in the role. The successful candidate’s actual pay will be based on various factors, such as work location, qualifications, and experience, so the actual starting pay will vary within this range.

At T-Mobile, employees in regular, non-temporary roles are eligible for an annual bonus or periodic sales incentive or bonus, based on their role. Most Corporate employees are eligible for a year-end bonus based on company and/or individual performance and which is set at a percentage of the employee’s eligible earnings in the prior year. Certain positions in Customer Care are eligible for monthly bonuses based on individual and/or team performance.
