Accenture Federal Services is seeking a Senior Cloud Engineer to join our cloud platform team supporting government customers within Gov Cloud Environments. This role focuses on designing, implementing, and managing enterprise-scale cloud infrastructure in a fast-paced, agile environment. This role has a strong DevOps engineering component, requiring expertise in automation, CI/CD pipeline development, and infrastructure-as-code practices. Candidates should be comfortable operating at the intersection of development and operations, building tooling and automation that enables rapid, secure delivery.

What you’ll need:

5 years of cloud engineering and infrastructure experience
3 years’ experience designing and implementing secure cloud architectures for enterprise or government environments
Experience with Infrastructure as Code and DevOps practices
Experience with containerization and orchestration technologies

Bonus Points if you have:

Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related technical field
Background in systems engineering, networking and security
Infrastructure as Code: Terraform, CloudFormation, ARM templates, Ansible, or similar
Enterprise-scale cloud architecture design and implementation experience
Production GitOps/CI-CD automation experience
Container technologies: Docker, Kubernetes, container orchestration
Network architecture: VPC design, hybrid connectivity, security groups, load balancing
Identity and Access Management across cloud platforms
CI/CD pipeline development and automation
Linux/Unix system administration and automation experience
Configuration management and infrastructure automation
Monitoring, logging, and alerting system implementation
Performance optimization and troubleshooting
Database administration and data management
Security hardening and compliance implementation
Proficiency in Python, PowerShell, Bash, or similar scripting languages
Experience with configuration management tools (Ansible, Chef, Puppet)
API integration and automation development
Version control systems (Git) and collaborative development

Clearance:

Must have an active Secret clearance; TS preferred

As required by local law, Accenture Federal Services provides reasonable ranges of compensation for hired roles based on labor costs in the states of California, Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Massachusetts, Minnesota, New Jersey, New York, Washington, Vermont, the District of Columbia, and the city of Cleveland. The base pay range for this position in these locations is shown below. Compensation for roles at Accenture Federal Services varies depending on a wide array of factors, including but not limited to office location, role, skill set, and level of experience.
