This role is responsible for hands-on development, deployment, and tier 2 support primarily for configure-to-quote and quote-to-order processes. You will configure and/or code based on analysis of business requirements for existing functionality and new enhancement requests in your area(s) of expertise as well as cross-trained areas. - Analyze and translate business problems and requirements into technical designs that achieve complex business objectives.
- Design and build high-value solutions that align with platform best practices and utilize out-of-the-box functionality first.
- Leverage reusable assets and support refinement of agile scrum, testing, and DevOps processes to improve the quality, speed, and accuracy of work.
- Proactively identify potential issues or inefficiencies to recommend and implement remediations.
- Troubleshoot issues and deploy fixes that address the root cause of the problem.
- Provide technical guidance and serve as an escalation point for support personnel and business stakeholders.
- Drive platform health by reviewing and optimizing code or configuration that do not align with Salesforce best practices.
- Generate and maintain technical design and configuration documents.
- Maintain knowledge of the latest Salesforce features and product offerings.
- Develop strong relationships with business partners to support relevant programs and Teradata's corporate transformation.
Who You’ll Work With:
This role will report into the Salesforce Solution team in the global Teradata IT department and will be highly collaborative with cross-functional teams. You will interact with business partners in Go-to-Market (GTM) / Sales, other Salesforce platform business stakeholders, quality assurance/testing team members, peers in IT who support integrated systems, enterprise and solution architects, project managers, and onshore/offshore development teams.
What Makes You a Qualified Candidate:
- 5+ years hands-on Salesforce Sales Cloud development experience in a consultative role as an employee or technology consultant required.
- 3+ years of experience with Salesforce CPQ required.
- 3+ years of other configure-to-quote and quote-to-order solutions on the Salesforce platform such as Logik.io and Services CPQ preferred.
- Experience with Flosum, Prodly, OmniStudio, Tackle, Salesforce Enablement, Salesforce Partner Community, Spiff, or other installed packages and connected apps a plus.
- Expertise in declarative platform features, Apex, Lightning Web Components, SOQL, and SOSL required.
- Excellent discernment of the right automation solution for the situation and when to use customization over configuration.
- Maintained Salesforce certification(s); Salesforce Administrator and advanced certifications or relevant years of experience required.
- Pattern of continued learning or certification achievement to stay current on the latest Salesforce platform features and functionality.
- Success in working with functional business leaders in Go-to-Market (GTM) / Sales in mid to large organization(s) in the software, technology, or similar industry.
- Proven ability to translate business requirements into concise and complete technical designs.
- History of implementing quality solutions on time while balancing multiple priorities.
- Experience mentoring junior developers or training less technical stakeholders.
- Demonstrated career progression in technical roles.
