You are:
The SAP Costing / Material Ledger Manager oversees product costing, inventory valuation, and financial accuracy within SAP, with a focus on the Material Ledger and actual costing processes. This role partners closely with the client to ensure compliant cost flows, lead period-end close activities, and drive process improvements and system enhances.
The work:
- Lead efforts to gather requirements and design solutions to meet these requirements
- Analyze and design new business processes to create the documentation that guides the implementation of new processes and technologies
- Partner with the business to define product requirements and use cases to meet process and functional requirements
- Facilitate interaction with technical counterparts to ensure technical solutions meet all functional requirements
- Develop test strategies and manage large complex test efforts
- Business process design and system analysis
- Coordinate and manage across architects, developers, technical services (i.e. BASIS, Middleware, Portal) and business analysts to perform business analyst functions and responsibilities
- Maintenance, enhancement and/or development of SAP modules, including interfacing with other applications
- Budgeting, staffing, forecasting and work planning
- Manage a team, including mentoring and training junior team members
Here’s what you need:
- 7 + years SAP ECC Controlling experience
- SAP Finance subject matter expertise in end-to-end Product Costing processes including Material Ledger functionality with integration points with other modules such as Project Systems, Payroll, Materials Management and Finance
- Knowledge of CO functionality, including Internal Order, Cost Center Accounting, Assessment, Distribution, Cost Transfer etc.
Nice to have:
- Bachelor’s degree in related field
- Relevant SAP certifications
- Experience with SAP Public Sector Financials and knowledge of SAP Financial Accounting
Eligibility Requirements:
- US Citizens only (no dual citizenship)
- Eligibility to obtain a government Public Trust clearance
As required by local law, Accenture Federal Services provides reasonable ranges of compensation for hired roles based on labor costs in the states of California, Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Massachusetts, Minnesota, New Jersey, New York, Washington, Vermont, the District of Columbia, and the city of Cleveland. The base pay range for this position in these locations is shown below. Compensation for roles at Accenture Federal Services varies depending on a wide array of factors, including but not limited to office location, role, skill set, and level of experience.
