Accenture Federal Services is seeking a Data Governance & Policy SME to join our team and support our client in the Columbia, MD area.
What you’ll do:
- Establish and enforce data governance policies to ensure the accuracy, integrity, and security of organizational data
- Collaborate with key stakeholders to define data standards, facilitate effective data collection, storage, access, and usage
- Drive data stewardship initiatives for comprehensive and effective data governance
- Navigate complex cloud ecosystems and apply best practices for securing data in AWS, Azure, and other cloud technologies
What you’ll need:
- 10 years of experience in data governance, data management, or related roles
- 3 years of experience securing Amazon Web Services (AWS preferred), Microsoft Azure, and other cloud technologies
- Experience with Agile development processes and/or Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) principles
- Familiarity with security policy management and risk assessment frameworks
- Experience with NIST SP 800-53 and/or Risk Management Framework processes
- Experience with Data Management Systems and Tools
- Experience Data Tagging and access management
Bonus points if you have:
- Exposure to cyber security, IT operations, and CNO software development or security research
- Experience with cloud security tools and methodologies
- Experience implementing security policy within the cloud environment
- Native policy orchestration experience
- Ability to translate policy and governance into technical implementation
- Ability to communicate security solutions and policy with development/engineering team as well as client leadership
- Excellent writing and communication skills
- DOD 8570 Information Assurance (IAM) Level I, (IAT) level II Certification or higher
Clearance:
- Must have an active TS/SCI with polygraph level clearance
As required by local law, Accenture Federal Services provides reasonable ranges of compensation for hired roles based on labor costs in the states of California, Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Massachusetts, Minnesota, New Jersey, New York, Washington, Vermont, the District of Columbia, and the city of Cleveland. The base pay range for this position in these locations is shown below. Compensation for roles at Accenture Federal Services varies depending on a wide array of factors, including but not limited to office location, role, skill set, and level of experience.
