People Operations Specialist (Maternity Cover)

As the connection between Pega employees and the People Function, you will ensure our People have an efficient and positive experience every time they need something from the Global People Operations Team; you will have a huge impact on the day-to-day experiences of our candidates and employees while being part of an engaging Global team.
What You'll Do at Pega:
- Act as the first point of contact for all People employee queries to provide a prompt and robust employee experience.
- Ticket resolution through the Tier 1 People Operations Workbasket in our Service Management platform, following standard internal process and adhering to established SLAs and KPIs.
- Manage all People administration tasks throughout the employee lifecycle such as international transfers, verifications of employment, employee offboarding, etc.
- Support our On/Offboarding Specialist team in the global preboarding and onboarding activities, including background checks, contract issuance, and applicant tracking system accuracy, while ensuring a seamless and service-oriented experience for new hires and stakeholders.
- Support global audit and compliance requirements including records management compliance.
- Propose creative ideas to continuously improve the candidate and employee experience through Gen AI, automation and self service.
- Create and maintain required standard operating procedures to ensure a full suite of process documentation exists for all global tasks as defined in Global People Operations service catalog.
- Adhere to service level agreements.
Who You Are:
- You are an excellent multitasker who thrives on juggling multiple assignments simultaneously.
- You are an innovative professional who enjoys problem solving independently and embraces GenAI and automation to drive smarter, faster service delivery.
- You are process oriented, able to accurately follow detailed process documentation and interested in continuously improving internal processes.
- You have been in a customer service focused role and have developed strong working relationships among other professionals and senior management.
- You have worked in an HR or similar corporate, fast paced environment and are highly motivated to provide a best-in-class employee experience.
What You've Accomplished:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent business experience.
- Professional working proficiency in Polish & English.
- 1+ year of experience in HR or related fields.
- Strong Microsoft Office skills; particularly Excel.
- HR Reporting/Metrics experience preferred.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle highly sensitive information.
- Outstanding initiative with very good customer service and interpersonal skills.
- Strong attention to details.
- Excellent organizational skills.
- Strong desire to learn about the Human Resources profession.

Additional Information
Base salary range for this role is 89,300 - 133,500 PLN annually. This role may also be eligible for annual bonus OR commission, as well as benefits and other incentives.
The final compensation will be determined during the offer process based on the candidate's education, experience, skills, and qualifications, as well as market conditions and may vary from the posted range. We will share an information on benefits, bonus/commission, and other pay components for this role at the relevant recruitment stage.
