Job Description

As a Senior Financial Analyst in Strategic Finance, you will be a primary driver of ThoughtSpot’s GTM financial reporting and data integrity. This role is central to our month-end close and forecasting cycles, where you will take ownership of validating critical bookings and SaaS metrics to ensure a single source of truth for the organization. Partnering closely with the broader Finance & Strategy and Revenue Operations teams, you will deliver high-visibility analysis and reporting on ARR, ACV, and renewals. This is a high-impact opportunity for an analytical professional to move beyond the numbers and provide the insights necessary to scale a global tech leader.

What You’ll Do:

  • SaaS Metric Validation: Lead the validation and reconciliation of ARR, ACV, and ATR during the month-end close process to ensure accurate reporting internally and for the Board.

  • GTM Performance Reporting: Own the delivery of weekly and monthly GTM dashboards, focusing on ACV, ARR, and renewals across the sales pipeline and actuals by product and sales coverage.

  • Cross-Functional Partnership: Act as the primary finance liaison to the Revenue Operations team to align on sales pipeline, bookings definitions and data hygiene within Salesforce.

  • Data Integrity & Excellence: Enhance data quality by implementing robust validation processes across financial datasets, ensuring consistency between Salesforce, Google Sheets, and ThoughtSpot Liveboards.

  • Strategic Insights: Perform in-depth analyses to identify sales trends, assess GTM performance, and provide actionable insights that drive business growth.

  • Executive Communication: Assist in preparing executive-level presentations that clearly communicate performance trends and strategic recommendations.

What you bring:

  • Experience: 3–5+ years of experience in financial analysis or strategic finance, specifically within a SaaS or high-growth technology environment.

  • SaaS Expertise: Deep understanding of SaaS business models and metrics including ARR, ACV, Churn, and Net Retention.

  • Technical Stack: Proficiency in Google Sheets and MS Excel is required. Experience with Salesforce and BI & reporting platforms is highly preferred.

  • Attention to Detail: A "data-first" mindset with a proven ability to reconcile complex datasets and ensure absolute integrity in reporting.

  • Analytical Power: Strong problem-solving abilities with a track record of conducting detailed financial analyses that lead to business impact.

  • Communication: Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to translate complex financial data into clear narratives for cross-functional partners.

  • Adaptability: A proactive mindset with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple workstreams during the month-end cycle.
