Job Description:

Universal Television Entertainment (UTE) is seeking a dynamic strategist to lead the development of holistic, data-informed marketing strategies for original and acquired programming on Peacock. Reporting to the VP, Marketing Strategy, this role is part of a broader team responsible for building actionable marketing strategies across the UTE portfolio – including NBC, Bravo, NBC Sports, and Peacock – that drive awareness, subscriber acquisition, and engagement. The person will also help shape the agenda for consumer-driven, long-term strategic thinking around Peacock show franchises. A successful leader in this position will be highly motivated and able to balance multiple work streams to drive key initiatives throughout the organization. The ideal candidate is a strategic thinker with a deep understanding of entertainment marketing, audience behavior, and the evolving streaming landscape.

The Person:

You’re energized by the idea of balancing the art of creative intuition with the science of analytical rigor. You have a strategic mindset that can zoom out to see the big picture while also diving deep into data and insights. You’re a dynamic storyteller who communicates clearly across disciplines to multiple stakeholders. You thrive in a collaborative, solutions-oriented approach and are comfortable navigating a fast-paced, constantly evolving media environment.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Lead marketing strategy development for Peacock’s original series and key titles – defining positioning, audience targets, objectives, and strategic frameworks
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Brand, Creative, Media, Multiplatform Planning, Decision Sciences, Programming, and others to uncover insights and inputs that inform the development of marketing strategy briefs
  • Mentor and lead a team of strategists, fostering curiosity, collaboration and elevating strategic rigor across all titles
  • Conduct competitive analyses across the streaming and entertainment landscape to identify opportunities and challenges that inform differentiated strategies
  • Partner with senior leadership to align marketing strategies with Peacock’s broader brand and business goals
  • Help manage the workflow to ensure projects move efficiently and meet deadlines

Qualifications

Basic Requirements:

  • 10+ years of experience in marketing strategy, brand planning, or entertainment marketing – preferably within streaming, television, media, or agency environments
  • Proven experience managing and developing high-performing strategy teams
  • Strong analytical background, leveraging quantitative and qualitative research to inform marketing decisions
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to influence and align senior stakeholders
  • Skilled in business writing and visual storytelling, using tools like PowerPoint, Google Slides, or Keynote to powerfully bring ideas and insights to life
  • Highly motivated self-starter, comfortable working independently and collaboratively across multiple departments and disciplines in a fast-paced environment
  • Exceptional organizational and time management skills with the ability to execute against multiple, high-priority projects at once
  • Resourceful and positive leader with strong interpersonal skills and a solutions-oriented mindset
  • Deep understanding of audience behavior, content consumption trends, and the competitive streaming landscape
  • Passion for television, streaming, and pop culture

Desired Characteristics:

  • MBA or Master’s Degree in related field
  • Previous leadership experience in streaming, or within media and entertainment

Additional Requirements:

  • Hybrid: This position has been designated as hybrid, which currently requires contributing from the office a minimum of three days per week. Beginning January 5, 2026, hybrid employees will be required to work from the office a minimum of four days per week. The Company reserves the right to change in-office requirements at any time
