Location: This role requires associates to be in-office 3 days per week, fostering collaboration and connectivity, while providing flexibility to support productivity and work-life balance. This approach combines structured office engagement with the autonomy of virtual work, promoting a dynamic and adaptable workplace. Ideal candidates will be able to report to our Pulse Point location in Hanover, MD. Alternate locations may be considered if candidates reside within a commuting distance from an office.

The Manager Data Analytics and Reporting manages professional level associates engaged in various levels of data and statistical analysis that includes compiling, manipulating, analyzing, and reporting of data. Leads a team of analysts delivering accurate, timely, and scalable analytic and reporting solutions for the State of Maryland contract and related internal and external stakeholders. This role balances people leadership, delivery accountability, and technical oversight to ensure contractual, operational, and strategic reporting needs are met.

How you will make an impact:

  • Manage, coach, and develop a team of professional-level analysts; oversee hiring, performance management, and workload balancing.

  • Oversee delivery of routine, ad hoc, and high-visibility reports and dashboards, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and SLA compliance.

  • Serve as a primary escalation point for complex or sensitive reporting requests.

  • Translate business requirements into clear technical direction.

  • Provide technical guidance and review (SQL/logic) to support quality and unblock delivery as needed.

  • Partner with internal and external stakeholders through clear, concise communication and effective meeting leadership.

  • Drive consistent use of standards, documentation, and scalable reporting practices.

  • Identify opportunities for automation and process improvement.

  • Ensure appropriate governance, including PHI/PII handling and audit readiness.

  • Manage a range of moderate to complex activities involving data analysis.

  • Manage, participate and coordinate the development and implementation of new/revised systems and procedures, such as developing new methods of analysis or sampling guidelines.

Minimum Requirements:

Requires a BA/BS degree and a minimum of 5 years of related experience; or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background.

Preferred Skills, Capabilities and Experiences:

  • 5–7 years of experience in data analytics, reporting, or business intelligence, including team leadership or lead responsibilities highly preferred.

  • Strong SQL proficiency (Oracle) highly preferred.

  • Proven ability to manage multiple priorities, translate requirements, and deliver in a regulated or SLA-driven environment preferred.

  • Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills preferred.

For candidates working in person or virtually in the below location(s), the salary* range for this specific position is $108,024.00 to $162,036.00
